Enlighten

I am dedicating this speedy post to my platform: preserving cultural diversity.

One of the many things I have learned throughout my experience as Miss Northeast Arkansas, is the power of enlightenment. Yes, one seemingly small element in life can trigger a multitude of ideas, projects, and actions. For me, that "eureka!" moment (in light of Archimedes) started with my international student conversation partner, Josephine. A young lady encompassing all corners of ambition, tradition, and determination; she has encouraged me to expand my love for multiculturalism and make a difference in my community. My steps might be minute at this moment, but I'm hoping to continue in the Miss Arkansas Organization to engage in a full sprint to encourage people to take advantage of what they were born with, to utilize their inherent diversity and different cultural backgrounds to positively impact their regions. So, thank you very much, Josephine!

I could go on, but I will leave you with this: "enlightenment is the key to everything. and it is the key to intimacy, because it is the goal of true authenticity." Marianne Wiliamson
